Briefings
The Briefings feature — The Ariadne Daily — delivers personalised AI-generated briefings on the topics you care about. Think of it as a custom newsletter or morning digest, written by your agent each time you request a refresh.
Accessing Briefings
Click Home → Briefing in the top navigation.
How Briefings Work
A briefing is generated by an agent that:
- Reviews the topics you have configured
- Searches for current information on those topics (using web search, knowledge bases, and other tools)
- Produces a structured, readable summary in the style of a news digest
Briefings are generated on demand (you click Refresh) or can be scheduled to run automatically — see Goals & Schedules.
Setting Up Your Topics
Topics are the subjects you want the briefing to cover. To add a topic:
- Go to Home → Briefing
- Click Add Topic
- Enter a description of what you want to know about (e.g. "Latest developments in AI research", "UK tech industry news", "Weather in London")
- Click Save
You can add as many topics as you like. Each topic becomes a section in your briefing.
Refreshing a Briefing
Click the Refresh button to generate a new briefing based on your current topics. The agent will research each topic and compile the results. Depending on the number of topics and available data, this may take a minute or two.
Previous briefings are kept in your history so you can review older editions.
Featured Briefing
The most recently generated briefing is displayed prominently as the Featured Briefing. Older briefings are accessible from the history list below it.
Public Briefings
Briefings can be made public, which generates a shareable link that anyone can view without logging in. This is useful for:
- Sharing a topic digest with colleagues or customers
- Embedding a live briefing in a public-facing context
To make a briefing public, use the sharing option in the briefing settings.
Scheduling Briefings
Rather than manually refreshing each day, you can automate briefing generation on a schedule:
- Go to Settings → Schedules
- Create a new schedule that triggers the briefing agent at your preferred time (e.g. every weekday at 7:00 AM)
See Goals & Schedules for full schedule configuration details.
